
These are fast, easy and delicious. Everyone gobbles them up.
Savory and Awesome Stuffed Pepper Appetizer
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground sausage - browned and drained well
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion sautéed until translucent - I usually cook with the sausage after sausage cooks a bit
- 2 cloves minced garlic - add to sausage after it starts to brown
- 1 tablespoon Awesome Antler Rub
- 1 block of Velveta cheese - cubed
- 1 bag of small red orange and yellow peppers - sliced in half and remove seeds and white material
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Brown sausage, add garlic and onion after it starts to cook
- Cook sausage until well done and drain any fat
- Stir in Awesome Antler Rub
- Melt Velveta in a microwave safe bowl over medium heat until melted
- Stir in sausage mixture and mix well
- Take a soup spoon and fill the pepper halves with mixture
- Bake in 375 oven until browned at the top and bubbly like the photo
- Enjoy, they may not be the healthiest appetizer but they will vanish quickly with oohs and ahhs.
